Poem: No More War by Dodie Stevens

No More War

There’s not enough love in the world,

And there’s way too much hate.

Love, respect, and acceptance

Can make it all go away.

When will we live in peace?

When will there be no war?

When will all this hate

Forever be no more?

We need to come together,

And stop all this fighting.

We were born to be loving

And not for despising.

We are all so different,

But we were made to be that way.

Everyone is unique.

Nothing and no one is the same.

There’s got to be a better way,

‘Cause war is good for nothin’.

The only thing it brings is…

Death and destruction.

No more war!

No more hate!

We need more love!

In the world today!
