  • Yale Project on Climate Change Communication

    • A human rights advocacy group that investigates and reports on human rights abuses around the world.
  • Transparency International
    • A politically independent organization that seeks to free the world of corruption. It operates in over 100 countries, working locally and globally to expose corruption and hold perpetrators legally accountable.

  • Catholic Peace Ministry
    • Independent organization, which pursues peace through prayer, discussion and action. Catholic Peace Ministry offers educational workshops, lobbies for nonviolent foreign policies and engages with ordinary people.
  • Catholic Worker House--Des Moines Chapter
    • An organization committed to simple, nonviolent living while working among the poor. The home is open for those who need basic necessities. It also participates in actions that support social justice.
  • Center for Active Nonviolence and Peacemaking
    • Operated by the Clinton chapter of the Sisters of St. Francis, the Center for Active Nonviolence and Peacemaking advocates for nonviolence, social justice and environmental protection.
